It has been a busy year. We had guests from the US, Israel, Germany, the UK, and other countries. It was nice to be able to offer our accommodations to guests who came for the first time to Montenegro, and they seemed to be impressed. It is not easy to gain footing in tourism when one still has to learn about it and develop the basics for their guests’ requirements. Montenegro is becoming more aware of climate change and waste management for certain. With temperatures ranging from 24 degrees C to 40 degrees C and endless summer sun with very little rain, the water dries up in the lakes. The municipal authorities just turn the water off. Storms have increased and tore through the infrastructure, causing a lot of damage.
At EcoHouse, we try to be always aware of climate change, we are concerned about learning and adapting to nature constantly in our daily lives.
